The Institute For Enterprise Architecture Developments (IFEAD) updated their Enterprise Architecture Tool Selection Guide to version 6.2. Now aligned to the latest evaluations from Gartner and Forester along with additional EA tool vendors it re-evaluates the capabilities of the new and existing vendors.

Due to important changes at products and suppliers of Architecture tools duringthe last year, IFEAD have produced a totally new version of their Enterprise Architecture Tool Selection Guide version 6.2.
The Institute For Enterprise Architecture Developments is proud to announce their totally renewed Enterprise Architecture / Systems Architecture Tools Overview version 6.2 2011, as well as the accompanied Enterprise Architecture Tool Selection Guidelines 2011 version 6.2.
In this guide there is a total renewed overview of current EA tool suppliers. A new column is added about support of Governance, Risk and Compliancy. Even so the Soluton Architecture column and SOA is combined, a new colum is added with all the references to suppliers websites. Based on research from Gartner 2010 and Forrester 2011, the leading vendors, challangers, visionaires and nice players are marked with colors. So this vendor and tools overview is now covering the most important areas of architecture work.
